5 Tips to Boost Your Confidence

In my previous blog, I shared my journey with you on what a struggle it was for me to feel confident in myself, and let me tell you- it wasn't always easy! (ps- you can find that blog here.)
But thanks to the great support of my friends, and a few improvements on my personal habits, my confidence slowly grew over time, and it's been life-changing!

 

So today, I'm sharing 5 tips to boost your confidence from my own personal vault. These are all things that helped me in my journey and I can't wait to hear how they help you in yours.

1. Learn about something you love.

Increasing knowledge in something you are passionate about builds the assurance you have in yourself to be able to pursue it. Chase those dreams!

2. Create something from scratch.

As humans, we're wired for survival. When we create something from scratch, it gives us a sense of accomplishment, like we've solved a problem. Creating helps us to feel comfortable being uncomfortable. 

3. Workout.

Other than the obvious benefits of feeling better about your physical physique, did you know that working out helps to keep your mental health fit too? That boost of serotonin, endorphins, and dopamine are a great way to naturally give you a pick-me-up with a long-lasting affect.

4. Compliment others.

It's a fact- making others feel better makes us feel better. Small acts of kindness help us improve our self-acceptance, showing ourselves that we are capable of creating positive change in the world. Win-win, right?!

5. Do a self-care day at home.

It's no secret that a white a smile helps us feel more confident! So why not take that one step further? Spa days at home are a great way to spend a little one on one time with yourself and reconnect with the things that make you happy. Whether it's taking a little extra time to pamper yourself with a pedicure or spending a few extra minutes on the mediation pillow, a little self-care goes a long way.
